CCW Wheels (subdivision of Weld Racing) in Kansas City made a set of custom wheels for my 2006 S2000. After failing to find an expert tire dealer who could guarantee a scratch-free installation, I contacted Ferrari of Tampa Bay in hopes that they could mount a set of Michelin Super Sport 4S tires on the wheels without damaging them. To my surprise, they referred me to "the go to guy for exotic wheels and professional installations," and who they also used. So, I called Craig at Pit Crew Tire Service, Inc. in Palm Harbor and scheduled an appointment. I also ordered the tires from Craig, and at a significant savings over all local tire dealers as well as Tire Rack. After helping me work with CCW (had to return the rear wheels for adjustments), the tires were mounted successfully and without a single blemish anywhere. Craig not only has state-of-the-art equipment, but an encyclopedic knowledge of the tire industry, which he gladly shares. He and his son worked efficiently, and had my tires mounted, balanced, and filled with nitrogen in less than an hour. You'll not find a better tire service in the nation - period.

Bought new tries on-line at the Tire Rack for my ZR-1. The Pit Crew was a top rated mounting company so I scheduled them to mount and balance the new tires. They did a great job, had all the tools and gadgets to protect the rims and the ceramic rotors on the car. Work was done on time, correctly, and as promised. They also have a great shop dog to hang out with while the work is being completed.

Went in earlier today to get "free" air in my tire. Pit crew has a "free air" machine out front. Today the machine was OOO. I asked a service technician that was working on a car about it and he humbly obliged me and took 90 seconds out his day to put air in my tires. Kind, respectful and just down right nice. I'm kicking myself for not getting the gentleman's name. ugh. PCTS now has a loyal customer.

Great shop! Craig was able to get my work done very fast. He's got equipment to work on older cars that the big tire places don't have (5 lug adapter for an old VW, for example). He also gave me some advice and helped me out with a trailer hitch. I'm very happy to be able to support a truly local business and also a Father and Son business. I'd definitely go there again.
